This book contains ninety-five poems by forty-seven writers from France, India, Israel, Japan, the Netherlands, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. Sixty-two poems cover the five interrelated and interdependent spheres of peace, as described by the National Peace Academy, USA: the personal, the social, the political, the institutional, and the ecological. Sixteen poems are about the absence of peace, seventeen poems make a plea for it.
